Life can finally revert back to normal now that...we're married!
That's right, we did it! We said our "I Do's" on April 5, 2014 in a small chapel located at my alma mater followed by a dinner at a local hibachi restaurant. It was a small, family-only wedding, but it was perfect. I wasn't looking forward to the wedding planning process, so taking on something like this, a simple wedding with a slight racing theme, worked out just great for everyone.
And despite the random snow storms we have been receiving here in Pennsylvania, we got no snow, no rain, and even a little sun!
Following the wedding we took a trip to Disney World for our honeymoon. With only one day of rain out of five, it was a great trip.
And being the racers that we are, we couldn't leave without seeing the racing-themed characters that Disney has to offer, Lightning McQueen and Vanellope Von Schweetz!
We were also able to meet Mickey Mouse, Buzz and Woody, and the green army men from Toy Story.
Once we got home and settled, we had to turn around and get the race cars ready for opening day at Pittsburgh Raceway. Now that we are onto racing season, we can only dream of going back our favorite magical place...
